This 1974 Harley-Davidson Vintage Beauty Is Aching to Get Back out and Rule the Roads!
New motorcycles launch every year, so it often become easy to forget the ones that came before them. After all, motorcycles have not always been the advanced machines they are today. Some people would say they are worse than they used to be, where others would claim they’ve only gotten better. And then there’s us, which appreciate both the old and the new, and simply cannot help but admire nearly all Harley-Davidson bikes. That being said, we have a special place in our heart for the classic hogs that still roam the streets!
Speaking of classic hogs, today we’ll be stepping into the garage of HDForums member Steve, who is also known by his username steve-o 1963. We will explore his awesome garage, and of course, take a closer look at his wonderful ride!
Steve is the proud owner of a lovely 43-year-old bike! The ride is a 1974 Harley-Davidson XLH 1000 Sportster, and it is currently Steve’s personal project. Of course, despite its age, it looks pretty great. Wouldn’t you agree? We can’t wait to see it once it is back to its former glory. Steve wants it to shine and dazzle, but also retain its vintage character.
