2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide Touring Review: Styling, Features, Engine, and Design

The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide includes a slammed suspension, stripped front fender and iconic Harley Davidson feel. This motorcycle is the enthusiast's perfect combination of street rep and custom Harley Davidson comfort and affordability. A refreshed frame, stylish front forks, useful rear shocks, cast aluminum wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires, and redesigned drive system improved the level of comfort to make long trips pleasant with plenty of ability for fun. The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide has everything a Harley Davidson enthusiast desires in a motorcycle. 
The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide is 95 inches long, has a low seat height of 27.3 inches, a ground clearance of 4.7 inches, a 63.5 inch wheelbase and a 6.0 gallon fuel tank that carries enough fuel for a long run. Included with the 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide is a 4.0 qt oil tank and air-cooled Twin Cam 96 engine with 96 cu inches of displacement pushing 92.6 ft lbs of torque @ 3500 rpm. Also included is Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection, 4-piston fixed front and rear brakes, and chrome slash-down dual exhaust.

The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide rides on black, slotted-disc cast aluminum wheels or optional chrome, profile laced aluminum wheels and is available in pewter pearl, dark blue pearl, pewter denim, red hot denim vivid black, red hot sunglo.

The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide also includes running lights, front fender light, directional light bar, low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, low fuel warning and optional cruise control, ABS and Security System 6. A fairing-mounted electronic speedometer with time of day clock, mileage countdown indicator, LED indicator lights and 6-speed indicator light are also standard.
