The 2009 Harley Davidson Road Glide has a sleek classic style combined with comfort that lasts the duration of the ride. For 2009, Harley Davidson redesigned the frame of the Harley Davidson Road Glide, including newly styled front forks, rear shocks, and black 28-spoke cast aluminum wheels.

Standard on the 2009 Road Glide is an Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection system, feeding an air-cooled Twin Cam 96 engine with 96 cu inches of displacement and 92.6 ft lbs of torque @ 3500 rpm. The bike also includes a 6.0 gallon fuel tank, 4.0 qt oil tank, handlebar-mounted electronic tachometer and speedometer with odometer, along with a full instrument panel including the standard features you need to make your trips easier and safer.

In dimensions, it is 94.1 inches long, has a seat height of 29.5 inches, a wheelbase of 63.5 inches, ground clearance of 5.1 inches, and a weight of 820 lbs. Stopping this heavy Harley are 32 mm, 4-piston fixed brakes front and rear. The Harley Davidson Road Glide is available in black pearl, vivid black, dark blue pearl, red hot denim, mirage orange pearl, and a new color for this year--red hot sunglow. The dual exhaust features a chrome finish with tapered end caps. Cruise Control is standard but ABS and Security System 6 are optional.
