From Cool to Cooler: A 1989 Harley-Davidson Sportster Build

If you’ve ever pursued building up a bike (or any vehicle, for that matter), then we’re sure you can attest to the fact that a build is rarely ever “complete.” To stop building up a ride is next to impossible.

Even once most of the work is done and the ride is where you originally wanted to, there is likely to always be something else that has been added to your list since. This is certainly not a bad thing, and makes for some very amazing bikes.

HDForums member hala_madrid has recently gotten to a point in his 1989 Sportster build where he has decided he is “mostly done(ish)” with the project. Of course, that doesn’t mean that he is truly done. Even so, the ride has come a very long way from where it began, and it definitely looks great!

We’re certainly a little jealous of this excellent ride, though we’re very happy that hala_madrid has managed to, at least in theory, complete his build! Go check out his build thread for more information, a ton of pictures, and to show your support!
