Attempting your first build can be a pretty terrifying experience if you’re not yet a pro. After all, working on a ride is very different than looking up pictures, reading write-ups and browsing build threads. It suddenly becomes real, and it’s up to you to see the project to completion. Oh, and let’s admit it, it can be a pretty big financial burden, too. Of course, that doesn’t mean that it’s not worth it. At least us H-D fans think so…
Behold H-D Forums member Jeuro, who has taken on and nearly completed his first successful bike build. The ride is a 1987 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, and the build was an attempt to make the ride into a Bobber. As a result, he made every effort to do as much fabrication as he could and even welded on a hard tail. Consequently, we’d say that it turned out great!
