2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883L “Dead Man’s Hand” Build
Sometimes it can be stressful when one’s plans for a build don’t correlate with the current budget. Even so, that doesn’t mean it’s worth getting discouraged over!
While saving and waiting may be annoying, and a bit of a nuisance in the big scheme of things, many can attest to the fact that waiting is, unfortunately, often 90% of a build. It just takes awhile — to earn money, do the work, for parts to arrive, and et cetera. All in all, it does turn out to be worth it! That is, if one has the patience!
It seems that despite having to play the waiting game, HDForums member 19Sparrow87 has decided his build is worth it. The ride he is working on a 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883L.
He has a lot of plans for his ride, but currently only the twenty inch ape hangers are sitting in his bedroom waiting to be installed. In addition, the ride currently has a 1200 upgrade, a Screamin’ Eagle carburetor, a Primo extra plate heavy duty performance clutch, mini apes, and much more!
In the future, 19Sparrow87 plans to swap out the small tank with a 4.5 gallon tank, relocating the speedometer, switching to a spring solo seat, and more!
