BUILDUP A 1998 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Project

Harley-Davidson Sportsters are just amazing. There have been quite a few different ones to hit the market, and it seems like they are endlessly successful. And this is certainly well deserved! When just noticing the lean and mean look of these rides it is easy to see why they are so hard to resist. After all, the looks of a bike can really mean a lot. Though we’re not sure if this is the reason that HDForums member powerman1972 decided to take on his Sportster 883 build, we’re sure that it played a role!

This ride started its life as a 1998 Sportster 883 hugger and has since had a lot done to it. The most major change being that powerman1972 has upgraded the original motor to a 1200 motor, and were sure that he feels the difference! Much of this ride isn’t stock anymore, and we definitely appreciate that. It’s always great to see a bike that has been totally transformed!
