Crazy Rider Carves Up Canyon Corners on a Harley!

By -

Despite repeated brushes with disaster, fearless motorcyclist’s riding skill demands props.

While Harley-Davidson may enjoy a rich and storied racing history, H-D-built cruisers aren’t exactly the kind of bikes you go corner carving on. This is primarily because they’re built for comfortable riding, not stunt-riding or taking on foreign-built crotch rockets. But as they say, just because you shouldn’t do something doesn’t mean you can’t.

Here we have video evidence that a Harley can indeed hang on canyon roads. This brave — or insane? — gentleman shows off his skills by going full Moto GP wearing nothing but a t-shirt and jeans. And, thankfully, a helmet. If you watch the entire thing without wondering at which point he’s going to wipe out, you aren’t alone.

Spoiler alert: He doesn’t (well, OK, he almost does at the beginning, but that’s it). Instead, we see a jaw-dropping, dynamic display of riding skill as a guy on a proper sports bike films the entire thing, undoubtedly impressed. It’s nearly two minutes of heart-pounding action, for rider and viewer. But, despite his repeated brushes with disaster, you have to give the guy props.

Regardless, we wouldn’t recommend trying this at home. One little pile of rubble or a tree branch around a blind corner would have led to a much different ending. But thankfully, a respectful fist bump from said sports-bike rider awaits Harley guy at the end rather than an ambulance (or hearse) ride.
