Deus Ex Machina Made a Sportster 750 Cafe, and It’s Amazing
When it comes to badass custom bikes, there are few who do it better than Deus Ex Machina. The Los Angeles-based team makes some of the best bikes out there, and recently they got their hands on a Sportster 750 to create a machine they are calling “The American.”
This Sportster has been modified to look like an old café racer. The exhaust is rerouted to be a dual exit that sits high towards the seat. The pipes are fully heat wrapped and a custom heat shroud protects the legs of the rider.
The rest of the bike has been stripped naked and it looks great. The rounded seat back cover adds that classic café silhouette, and the low flat handles let you lay right down across the tank.
The lack of shrouding lets the pure mechanical beauty of the bike come through. From the polished look of the front forks to the exposed chain drive out back, I love everything about this bike.
If you like a good café conversion, this is the bike for you.
