We’re all united by our love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and that passion can manifest itself in many different ways.

In most cases, motorcycling isn’t our only hobby, and many of us find ourselves drawn to other hands-on hobbies that quench our thirst for tinkering. When these worlds collide, the results are often incredible and surprising.

HDForums member, wideglideCVO shared some photos of an amazing project his co-worker just completed: a hand-carved Harley-Davidson Road King made out of mahogany. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is simply stunning, especially once you understand that mahogany can be challenging to work with.

To spend so many hours lovingly replicating every detail of this motorcycle is an amazing feat in itself, but even more mind-blowing is the fact that the entire motorcycle was carved from one piece of mahogany, with individual parts being cut out and refined before being added back on the tiny model.

Every detail is present, from brake and clutch levers to the spark plug wires, all expertly recreated in scale – all by hand. The finish is excellent, and the completed motorcycle is unmistakably a Harley.

Whoever is lucky enough to display this hand-carved beauty on their mantle, should do so with pride!
