Harley-Davidson Goes Off-Road, Saves a Tortoise
There are two things that makes this video more intriguing than your average cruise through the country — firstly, that this is an off-road drive through the rural areas of Greece. Secondly, that the hard-core bikers stop to save a tortoise that is in a rather dangerous place on the trail.
I’m sure that we can all agree that the vast majority of Harley-Davidson motorcycles really aren’t made for off-roading. In fact, they’re primarily designed to grip asphalt and carry you through the suburbs. But just because they weren’t made for such an application doesn’t mean they can’t handle it! In fact, these bikes seem to do quite well, even in these strenuous conditions. It even seems like off-roading in Greece aboard a stock hog would be a lot of fun!
And then, of course, there is the tortoise that shows up in the beginning of the clip as well. The rider of one of the hogs kindly moves the creature from harm’s way. A tortoise, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and a whole lot of dirt — what’s not to love about this video?
