America thinks they own the market on great Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, but the U.S. isn’t the only place to indulge in the thunderous roar of an HD.

Australia is another large market for America’s best motorcycle, and just last weekend the Harley Owners Group (HOG) set a record for attendance at their 24th National Australia HOG Rally.

Almost 2,500 riders descended together upon the town of Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia. The event was so large and successful that riders made the trip from not only the outer reaches of the Land Down Under, but from the U.S., UK, Indonesia and South Africa as well. After all, the only thing better than riding your Harley on a great day, is riding with your friends.

The actual rally lasts through the weekend, and apart from the great rides, there is plenty of country music, a rodeo, sheep shearing competitions, and an event that sees Harley riders working alongside horses for tricks and shows. This may be the biggest HOG rally on record for Australia, but its only going to get bigger.
