One Jilted Lover in Arizona is Going to a Special Place in Hell for Destroying Her Boyfriend’s 2004 Harley-Davidson Springer

In Mesa,Arizona, Victoria Rae Mulle Gindhart, 40, is a accused of setting her boyfriend’s motorcycle on fire.

Court records show that on January 3, Mesa police and firefighters went to a home for a shed fire. Inside the storage unit, officials reportedly found a destroyed 2004 Harley-Davidson Springer motorcycle. Just outside the shed, they found burnt, partially-filled gasoline cans.

Gindhart (pictured) claims to have “never said anything about lighting the motorcycle on fire” to her boyfriend. However, that may be a rather loose interpretation of the truth. Upon getting permission to go through Gindhart’s phone for information regarding the motorcycle, law officials reportedly found an incriminating text sent to her boyfriend. It read: “U gotta see what I’m about to do.” The message was allegedly followed by a picture showing a “trail of fire leading to a storage shed.” The image was captioned: “The motorcycle (w)ell what’s left of it, is leaving my house.”

Reportedly, she later  admitted to police that she set fire to the shed because she believed her boyfriend was cheating on her.

Police say the Harley is worth about $17,000, and there was also damage to nearby power lines. (The stated cost of the bike is likely the price they found for the Harley new in 2004. But this is still a devastating loss regardless of value for one particular Harley fan.)

Gindhart has been charged with arson and criminal damage.
