Leaning Into It: Harley-Davidsons Stunt on Mulholland
If you were to ask most Harley riders about the last time they got down on one knee, there’s a good chance they weren’t anywhere near a corner. These “Mulholland Riders,” however, approach the world a bit differently.
The guy clipping apexes like a Californian Valentino Rossi can be found on Instagram at NationalMotors. He represents 27 Cycles, a family-owned garage just outside of Los Angeles. They do some great work; and although word-of-mouth is a good way to get recognition… Dragging knuckles through the dirt on a Dyna isn’t a bad way to get it either. Brave? Yes. Very.
Kade Gates, on the other hand, apparently hates keeping his front-wheel on the ground. He rides for UNKNOWNindustries and is well known in the stunting scene for his wheels-up antics. See? Here he is doing his best impression of a Saturn V rocket:
I love it. Not saying this is for everyone, but it does feel good to see these beasts being ridden hard (and well!)
