It seems as though having both a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a sports bike in the garage is becoming more popular, as though a long-standing rivalry is breaking down.

Regardless, we will accept the fact that some people enjoy the experience of owning and riding both. One of these people is HDForums member grbrown, who has been riding since 1967 when he was just 19 years old.

He bought his first new Harley motorcycle in 1974, and it was an FX1200 Super Glide, and clearly it hooked him on hogs until even today. Today we’ll be stepping inside his garage and taking a look at the two beauties on two wheels that lie within!

The first is and the most important — of course! — is grbrown’s 1990 Electra Glide. The ride is painted in Hyacinth Blue and is currently undergoing a variety of upgrades, including the addition of a 2009 six gallon tank, 2010 police saddlebags, and more.

We’re excited to see exactly how this ride will turn out, but we definitely like it so far! Not to mention that the paint color itself is quite unique and gives it an excellent look, especially when compared to the regular black hue used most often on hogs.

Sharing space with grbrown’s Electra Glide is a 2007 Buell XB12R Firebolt, painted in Buttercup Yellow. The ride is already quite good in the area of performance, so all that grbrown has really done to the ride is add a custom built stainless steel muffler. And that is certainly for the better, as it leaves much more time for him to focus on his blue bagger!

Whether you’re a die-hard fan of hogs or believe that living on two wheels, regardless of make, is the way to go, there is no denying that grbrown has a garage to be proud of!

Go check out his rides in his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
