MY RIDE! A 2003 Road King & 1999 Dyna Low Rider

Just because a ride is older doesn’t mean it’s illegitimate. In fact, older rides have just as much flair and pizzazz, or maybe even more, than newer rides do!

Age doesn’t necessarily mean they’re unsafe or falling apart either, which seem to be interpretations that some people take in regard to aging rides. Of course, the status of a ride depends greatly on the care it has received in it’s life, and, surprisingly enough, many of these well cared for bikes still rule the road in 2016!

Today we’ll be stepping into HDForums member fxdlx‘s garage and taking a closer look at his superb older ride that lies within!

When we say “older” we don’t mean classic, which is what a ride is classified as once it hits 25 years of age. Instead we mean a ride older than the norm.

As for today’s feature, we mean a bike that is 17 years old. Fxdlx is the proud owner of a this 2003 Road King and a 1999 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider, and they are both certainly amazing! As it sits now, it has a 95″ motor, JET heads, SS roller rockers, Race Tech fork valves, Progressive springs, FXDX rear shocks, and much more!
