How would it feel to go back in time and uncrate a 1975 Norton Commando motorcycle? I’m not talking about picking one up from the dealer, but actually cutting the box open and pulling each part out. Believe it or not, you may not need a time-machine to do so, just serious cash…

According to Motorcycle Classics, the former owner of a Belgian motorcycle shop called, Motoshop Podevyn, recently passed away, and given his reputation in the local biking community as an eccentric collector and somewhat of a “nut,” more than one person knew that there’d be exquisite relics to be found inside his property. Well, they were correct. A total of 11 brand-new 1975 Norton Commando motorcycles were found in unopened crates, and insiders say those are just a small piece of the treasure.

Auction company, Trooswijk Belgie, will be auctioning off over 400 lots worth of motorcycles, parts and accessories found in the Motoshop Podevyn grounds. Items include the 11 Norton Commando motorcycles, an ex-Peter Williams Norton-powered space frame racer, a never-opened Rotax-powered 1989 Matchless G80, multiple customized Nortons, a Triumph T160, Bonnevilles, and never-ending piles of seats, wheels and iconic North black and gold fuel tanks.

Prices for the Commando bikes have been listed for anywhere between $21,000 dollars to $23,000 dollars, which makes them quite pricey, considering they will take quite a bit of work and elbow grease to get them running after sitting on the shelf for so long.
