My dad just bought a SE super tuner and had it installed on his 12 street glide. My question is do the super tuners allow you to purchase another license so i can use his tuner and get mine dyno tuned with it by just buying another license. Iknow its married to the bike but just wondering if a second license can be purchased. I know my TTS Mastertune allowed, i believe 2 licences. I believe it was just 200 bucks more instead of having to buy another tuner.

 

I don't think that is an option with the SE units. I have a "B" unit lying around from a previous bike...it does seem silly that they become worthless after one shot. I know the Power Vision units have the ability to be re-used with additional licensing fees.

 

No for SE but as the previous poster said....You can pay around 150 for a licence fee for power vision (if your dyno tuner uses them) and another 300 bucks for a dyno time. You could be done for 500 bucks...that is, if you are done with engine mods

 

Hey Rooti. Yea i was just asking since my dad just did the tuner/dyno i thought maybe the SE would allow 2 licenses. On my wide glide i installed a TTS. As an idiot I gave the dealer my TTS so the new owner can have it. Wasnt thining right since i probaly could of used it on my new bike after buying a new license for 200 bucks. I'm an idiot.
