Dyno graph with 57H cams in a 103?
I'm going to do cams in my 2012 Heritage and have spent quite a bit of time looking through the Dyno sections in the softail and touring forums. I haven't been able to find much with Andrews 57H cams in a new 103 that hasn't had a lot of other engine mods done to it. I'd like to see what the torque curve looks like in a 103 with those cams and only freer flowing exhaust and air cleaner. I'm particularly interested to see the range of 2000 to 3000 rpm. The new 103's are 6 speeds and I've found that even with a stage one done, I need to downshift twice before accelerating from around 60 mph and I'd really like to have a big improvement in this range. I'm also considering a Zippers 525. I've talked to guys at Andrews and Zippers and they aren't really very specific in their answers other than to trying to sell me one or the other. If anyone has a graph of what I'm looking for I'd appreciate seeing it. Thanks!

Don't want to get too technical but one run is using SAE correction factors and one STD correction factors. The most "accepted" results are based on the SAE factors. If you really want to wade into the whole SAE vs STD stuff, just google it and you'll have plenty of dry reading ahead of you.

This is not my bike, If you want a good source of dyno's for different setups by some tuners around the USA willing to share information let me know. It also is a forum but keyed to more technical info vs who's the biggest poser stuff. (not that there's anything wrong in that)...

Keeping in mind that many, many things will effect the final dyno results of any given build.

Really good looking lines with the 57's for the 103.. Son also went with the V&H 2-1-2s with S&S 551's on his 2010 Street Glide. thats a good set up also.
ONE other cam that fairly new is the woods 222's.. Fuel motor has done some testing with his pipes and tune and is also getting good numbers.
Might look at his web site and see if U like those also. FM has also posted a really good thread in her about the results he's getting from them.

I am going to put 57h's in my 2012 FLTRX (Road Glide Custom) with SE aircleaner and Supertrapp 2 into 1 . I will use thundermax fly by wire tuner with this setup. I am wondering about replacing the .042 headgasket with a .030 one for about 9.9 to 1 compression - and when the heads are off cleaning up the ports where they match the intake manifold as well as the valve seats in the head. Or should I not bother? 100 ft lbs of torque at 2500 looks just awesome.
