If you would work for HD and had the opportunity to engineer and design, what would you change?

Modern front suspension, aluminum frame, wheels that weigh less than the ones on my car, rear suspension with some travel.

Ergonomic changes,it's a shame someone over 6' tall has to feel this cramped. I'm convinced HD designers must be a bunch of skinny midgets.

Re: Modern front suspension, aluminum frame, wheels that weigh less than the ones on my car, rear suspension with some travel.

- Inverted front forks w/ adjustability
- Lighter frame for sure - put the whole bike on a diet
- Front / rear brake biased valve operated by front lever
- Change oil filter mount so it doesnt make a mess when changed
- Balance the engine components better, time for the shake & buzz to go away
- Top & bottom steering neck zerk grease fittings
- OEM LED lighting for run, brake & turn

Just for starters

Take out the 'stupid' - start with the 28 spoke wheels that you have to struggle to check the air.

I'd change the rear suspension (adjust-ability), would also make the ride height somewhat adjustable to allow for different size riders. Install a factory oil temp gauge.
