Default Floorboard lowering kits?

I'm 6'6" with a 38" inseam and would like to lower my F/B. I already have a tallboy seat, but would like a little more room other than the highway pegs. what are my options?

I know you'll probably get this from a few people but just consider the ramifications of lowering the floorboards. To do it would most likely result in your mounting brackets being lower as well which will inevitably become your first point of contact with the road in a turn. Typically if your boards hit first its no big deal because they are designed to fold out of the way a little bit. If you hit a solid, frame-mounted component on the road there is no room for forgiveness, and it may upset your bike to the point of no return mid corner. I'm sure you like having the floorboards and no one will fault you for that but your best option realistically would be a set of forward controls to give you more leg room.

You don't want to lower them. You can buy kits that move them out and forward. You'll gain about 2 inches. I bought the "harley goodies" kit, plus the floorboard pans that Harley Davidson sells for my setup.

Default Lowering FB

CPITA

I just relied to another post regarding lowering.

My FB is lowered front and rear w/HD kit.
No serious complaints, footboards grind early (is ok), BUT after last road trip found I was grinding away the bottom of the primary on curves.
