Default Current HD Finance Rates

Been thinking about picking up a brand new bike (all my bikes have been craigslist specials) but do not want to pay some insane amount of interest. I have noticed most car dealers offer 0% interest but have not seen that from Harley. Has anyone seen this rate lately or should I head back to Craigslist? If it matters, my credit score would qualify for top tier rates.

Check your local credit union. If your not a member join one. You'll never get better rates anywhere else. I would never go back to a bank or to HD for financing again

My son bought a Sportster recently and got 3.9% for 5 years. My local dealer partners with a local credit union. Your dealer probably does the same. Remember, you have the choice of going to any financial institution you'd like. Shop around. Of course the better your credit score, the better rate you'll qualify for.

3.9% isn't too bad, I think the lowest their website lists is around 8%. Thanks for the reply.

To answer your original question, you won't find 0% on any bike, at least not in the 20 years I've been riding. Pay cash.

Our dealer uses eagle bank or whatever they're called (harley's in-house financer). In august they quoted me at 14% on a used bike. Drove to the credit union filled out the paperwork and got it for under 5% took certificate to dealership and rode bike home. As stated you'll always get better rates with credit union and better service too. If there's a problem or you have an issue you'll also be able to go and hash it out in person instead of playing on the phone.

Just bought a 2013 Roadglide Ultra this month; was quoted 5.25% through Eaglemark. Got 3.25 at a credit union.
