Cool My 2013 48 pic

Well this is my 2013 Forty Eight...

Upgrades: HD download, 3.3 fuel Tank,Flush mount fuel cap, SE heavy Breather Air intake, Vance & Hines Straight-shot exhaust, Black Diamond Pegs = shifter and grips, smoked front blinkers, Blacked out Head bolt covers, HD #1 timing cover, Brawler HD seat.

Having Power Commander V installed next week and then should be ready for my First service in May so I will have the HD #1 Derby cover installed at that point. My goal is to keep the bike Blacked out and have what little chrome instaledl standout. Near Future additions mini-sissy bar, 2up seat and rear pegs (so I give my lady a ride).

Nice job - looks like a fun scoot. Keep up the good work & ditch the rear red reflectors.

When standing next to the bike I didn't really see the red reflectors that much but it appears that standing away from it they are very noticeable, thanks for pointing that out ICE and they will be removed today

Looks real sharp man, real clean, nice bike! I especially like the tank with no emblems/lettering on it. You gonna' keep it that way? I've got the brilliant silver denim Iron and like you I'm trying to keep the chrome on my bike to a minimum, which I think tends to highlite what little there is of it even more; the factory chrome shields and the KW tapered mufflers stand out nicely by themselves against the contrasting black engine/frame/wheels/seat and the dull silver paint. IMHO of course, LOL.

Betcha' can't wait for the PCV to get installed! It's gonna' run like a sewing machine...zoom zoom!!

Well the plan is to keep the tank black with no decal but if I came across an emblem I really liked who knows? the SE Heavy Breather thou gives the motor all the air it needs but itr really dosen't fit the color scheme and I am not sure if I want to go with the aluminum SE cover or just keep the black rain sock on it??
