Default Synthetic or conventional oil?

Hey, fellas. New 2013 Street Bob owner here. I'm new to the Harley world, so, sorry in advanced if my inquiry has been asked and answered a billion times, but....

What do you guys recommend for motor oil for your Harley - synthetic or conventional?

Easy answer....At 1,000 mile break in service, switch to synthetic. It has superior properties to conventional.
Amsoil motorcycle, Mobil 1 v-twin, HD Syn 3, and many other choices available.

Been off the forum for almost 2 years. Come back today and guess what an oil thread.

Reminds me of that scene from Crocodile Dundee when he turns on I Love Lucy and says, "Yup, that's what I saw!"

Get the best of both worlds. Use a syn blend.

Hahaha! Sorry, man. Like I said, I know it's been asked an answered a billion times, but I'm a green Harley owner. I'm getting my 1000 mile checkup done and the dude told me he doesn't use synthetic oil.
