Default Led passing lamps.

I just installed the Harley daymaker led headlamp and passing
Lamps on my street glide. Does anyone have
The instructions on how to aim the passing lamps?
Also has any one used the harness to keep the
Passing lamps on with the high beam. Thanks.

It's covered pretty well in the manual...The HD harness works very well...it's an easier install than adjusting the darned passing lights.

I ended up going with the Truck Lite P7 headlight & passing lamps- just manually tweaked them till I was satisfied with their aim?
I did use the HD independent harness (part # 69200441) though.
I like the option to be able to run my passing lamps with the high beam on.
Speaking for myself- I can never seem to have enough light pointing down those dark, desolate roads, the more light the better!

The instructions on how to aim the passing lamps? If you didn't get any, let me know and i'll scann and e-mail them to you.
Didn't the instructions come in the box? I have them and am still struggling with aiming them properly.
I don't have a wall wide enough to see the whole light pattern and have a hard time lining up the center of it with the mark on the wall.
Also a **** poor setup to adjust them. Removing the signals then the nut, aiming the light and tightening it without loosing the setting and keeping the signal light base in line. I think they tighten it and use force to move the passing lamps....Sucks....

I just did this mod on my RKC this weekend and found the install to be easy. The only issue we had was that my aux light switch was actually installed in reverse.

The order the harness is supposed to run is:
power from fender clip light plug
through the new harness
connects to the grey/black wire supplying the aux lights

Following the directions caused mine to be:
power from fender clip light plug
through the new harness
connects to the yellow wire coming from the high beam relay

This caused my aux lights to not work ever, no matter what position the switch was in or whether the high beams or low beams were on. There just wasn't power going to the aux lights at all.

Once I discovered the issue, I trimmed dog ears on the aux light connector so I could install it upside-down and the aux lights work perfectly now.

The moral of the story is this: do not determine which wire to depin and cut based on where it attaches to the aux light switch. Depin and cut the wire that connects to the yellow relay lead at the white connector.

I have the TruckLite 7 set and I adjusted the passing lamps without instructions. As for the harness, I bought the Kuryakyn harness, it's $10 cheaper ($19.99) than the HD one and is exactly the same, except that the connectors are white and not black. Who cares? The harness is inside the fairing anyway.

For what it is worth when I did the change to LED lights last fall after a rough adjustment I took them out on the road for a final adjustment. Got them just the way I wanted them in actual use.

Of course we live on road that doesn't have much traffic which helps do the adjustments on the road.

Has anyone tried the PIAA 1100 LED's? I have the PIAA 005 Xtreme White driving lights now and I like how they mounted, the 1100's should mount the same way. I would like some feed back before I lay out that kind of money.
