Or whatever they're called............I gotta ask....................what's with those handlebars? I see they must be "the latest thing", because a lot of guys are running them, but man, they look really stupid and uncomfortable to me. Somebody please explain to me why you think those look good.
I'm NOT trying to make anyone mad, or disrespect your bikes. I just truly do not understand. What am I not seeing? Or am I just getting old?

 

T bars have been around for as long as I can remember. Maybe not so much riser. What seems uncomfortable to you?

 

I've been riding motorcycles since 1965 and I've NEVER seen any bars that look like that! Why have risers that are that tall? I'm sorry, but that just looks stupid to me. It screams "look at me". I can't believe someone who rides a motorcycle seriously, like goes places other than the local bar or dealership, would actually want bars like that. I gotta tell ya, most of the guys I ride with, (call us old farts if you want, but we've all been riding over 40 years) would laugh you off the road if you showed up with those things on your bike.

 

same thing too me about ape hangers, SORRY no offence meant BUT you look like a idiot with them, you must not ride your bike thru the hills ( mountain roads)

I ride with that kind of setup and can say I find it far more comfortable, especially for fast, aggressive riding. Mine are 12" and I can honestly say I feel I have far more control with that setup than any others I've ridden on a cruiser. Personal preference, I guess. I can say that here in CA you see it a lot more.

 

Ride a bike with t bars on it and you'll see how comfortable they really are

 

yup tbars are alot more comfortable for me!! the stock mini apes were actually less comfortable

 

Comfortable or not, they look really stupid to me! Almost comical.

 

I've rode (my bike and others) with many different types of handlebars. The set of t-bars I have on there now are 11" tall but I have to tell you they are the most comfortable bars I have ever took the time to put on my bike.

I was very hesitant about them before I got them, but I'm a believer now. Real t-bars have less than 3" of pullback and keep your knuckles in the wind..just makes riding and handling great. The wrist angle is where it's at.
