Default Sportster 72 Seat

I have a 2013 Sportster 72 and looking for a new seat. The stock seat looks cool and it is comfortable but when I'm on the freeway or higher speeds I start slipping. Anyone recommend a good seat that won't feel like I am slipping?

A few seats I am interested in:

- Mustang Low Tripper
- Red Tail Leather
- Mother Road Customs
- Harley Davidson Black Diamond Solo Spring Saddle

I don't do long rides I am just looking for a seat that I won't slip. If anyone has any experience with these seats (or any other they recommend) I'd like to here your opinions about them. A picture would be cool if I could see how it looks too.

Thanks.

You will get plenty of different views I'm sure but I have just changed my 48 seat to the Le Pera Bare Bones and I am pretty impressed with it - no more slipping off since I put it on...

I had a Le Pera Bare Bones (leather) on my old bike (Deuce) I really liked it.

Is your Bare Bones leather? Is the kick/lip on the back of the seat a lot higher than stock? It is hard to tell when I look at pictures of it.

You may wanna give it some time. I have the 1200 kit pushin' 85hp and it's a beast. I pull back hard every chance I get. Honestly I don't ever feel like I'm slippin' anymore. If I was ever to change...the bare bones would be it here too. Like Dan said too....windshield.

I've had the bike a couple of weeks. I never had that slipping when I had my Deuce but the seat had a bigger kick on the back. I should also add that I am a thin dude lol. If I was a heavier guy it might keep me firmly in the seat better.

I put a mustang seat on mine, just for the reason you said. slipping off the back is very easy to do,

And added a windsheild, small smoked glass. that did the trick.

Yep it is suprisingly higher than it looks and it does hold you in place. For me I think the bare bones suit the 48 and 72s and I only ever ride solo which makes it easy.
