Legends Sliding Tour Pack
Well I've searched and searched an I can find very little first hand info on the Legend SLT tourpak. I think it's what I'm looking for but I do have questions and would like to see pictures, more than on the Legends Site?
Is there any one out there that actually has one? That rides one? Who is willing to share with us less fortunate folks, your experiences, like dislikes, problems or fine features of this product might help some of us make up our minds to spend this kind of cash on comfort?.
All sarcasm aside? Can anyone shed first hand knowledge on This system. Is the seat good, does the slider work well? What are pros and cons...and please... Pictures pictures, pictures
Thanks

Thanks, for the quick replays. Yes I did see the Baggers Mag article, its good, yet It doesn't give the riders view after it being installed for a while. Also saw the videos, and there is a cute one with the Babe hitchhiking. I also saw one other mention of someone who has one, but not really with much detail. Surprised with the amount of folks out there, that more haven't been sold, or so it might seem, or no ones talkin!!
My questions are
1. How does it affect wiring, antennas etc on install?
2. What about license plate, does it have to be relocated?
3. Are the seats comfortable? Is the seating position different than stock?
4. Is the passenger pillion larger? More comfortable than stock?
5. Any thoughts on the back rest, I understand it only move up and down, so how is the rake?
6. Does it rattle?, is the sliding mechanism well designed.
What pros and cons, if you've had one for a while.
Muchas

They are based here in Utah. I personal don't own one but saw one down at Timpangos Harley. The sliding mechanism was nice and looked very well made. It was able to slide easily and the lock pins are spring loaded so you can pull them and slide the tour pac and they will lock on their own.
I have yet to see the seat though...

I have long-researched/considered this product/concept... It is a bit pricey IMO but perhaps/hopefully the quality/engineering/design warrants... I rarely take passengers and would like to move my CG/tour-pack forward (for safety/handling)... My approach is to have my semi-stock Sundowner seat w/ adjustable backrest re/upholstered (passenger pylon/rear-section cut down using high-density memory foam) so the tour-pack can slide for/aft over it (without having to remove the seat)... Also, perhaps using/slightly modifying the existing/stock support-rack...
