Had CB module installed before picking the Trike up. Mine was the first one the dealer installed. Trike is pre-wired for the module however it does not have the antenna. After a heated conversation they called mother Harley to find out they should have sent the antenna with the module. Finally have all the parts to install antenna. Sure the delay is my dealer more than anything else. If Trike has PTT switch it should be an easy plug and play install (just make sure you have an antenna).

Thanks... How much is the CB ? What did they charge to install it? Was there an additional charge for the antenna ?

Mine does not have the PTT hand control from factory. So install would be PTT control, antenna, module and harness. About $1000 says Harley. Module alone was $398.

Do all of the 2014 TG's come "pre-wired" for the CB ?
Part of that question also is, Do all 2014 TG's come with the PTT switch? Or is it some do and some do not.
Bottom line, it would just be installing the CB module and an antenna...
Nothing was said about a CB at the dealer when we were talking about the trike.

I was told Trikes before a certain VIN# did not have the switch and after that number did have the switch. Mine was in the gray area in between. Mine arrived at the dealer on 8/29 and has the switch. Another Trike arrived after that and did not have the switch. If the switch is there it is just the module and antenna. The module lists for $325.00(pn# 76000486) going in on Thursday for the antenna my guess is they will be charging me for it. As far as labor don't really know they charged me labor for the accessories had installed before picked it up did not break it down to each item.

Mine doesn't have the switch. Wondering what those VINs are, or if that's even reality. To me it's no biggie as I have no use for the CB anyway.

I do know the CB comes in handy when M3 and I ride together.

If this is right ...."I was told Trikes before a certain VIN# did not have the switch and after that number did have the switch. Mine was in the gray area in between. Mine arrived at the dealer on 8/29 and has the switch." Then if the one I am waiting on has a leave the factory date of 10/10 then I could assume that it will have a PTT switch on it ?

It should be. On Harley web site it says the CB is pre-wired on the Trike.
