Forward Controls 2014.5 Low Rider

HD makes 2 types of stock highway pegs alone... Lowriders use to come with a set of highways.. guess not anymore.. I prefer to shift/brake with my heels off of the hwy pegs.. because I dont like the "push" feeling my leg gives the bike when using either lever with fwd. controls and my toes, esp. the brake lever.. (my preference on that for sure) but if you shop it... you should find some reasonable kits for the newer dynas or even some good take off gear that no one is using anymore for sale on ebay, craigslist or here on the forum classifieds

I rode my bike for the first week with stock mids. After about 30 minutes I was ready to get off the bike. My legs would be stiff or cramped. First mod I did was putting on forward controls. I bought the HD kit from the dealer. Now I ride for hours with no discomfort or complaints. It's night and day. I recommend them. Other company's make them too and you can always check the classifieds here or Craigslist etc.

I just installed the Kuryakyn standard forwards on my bike. Amazing difference than the mids for sure. The quality of the Kuryakyn's are pretty darn good and you can typically find them cheaper than the HD branding. Of course I mean new. If you find a complete set used that's in great shape, that will save you some coin.
Good luck. Forwards are very comfortable.

Go with the Harley forwards. They make regular , extended , and reduced reach depending on your height. I myself won't buy any Kury anymore, I had a inner primary cover that the chrome started peeling and they would do nothing about it. So I won't use any of there stuff on my bike anymore.
