Bardahl Motorcycle Oils
Has anybody heard of these oil products? Our local Indy swears by their products. Bardahl has been around a long time -- since like the 1930s or something like that. Here's the link:

RE: Bardahl Motorcycle Oils
The indy here in town that sells it was telling me yesterday that he had a customer come in who was having difficulty finding neutral. He asked the customer if he could install Bardahl 'All-in-One' in the transmission and if the trouble still exists that he'd pay to replace it (the customer was running Syn 3). Anyways....you know the rest of the story -- the customer's problem apparently disappeared. I don't know the Indy well enough to know whether he was BSing, but I thought it was pretty interesting. BTW, the Indy was an HD engineer for twenty plus years before going out on his own.

You're in Wisconsin, home of AMSOIL, and you want to use Bardahl

No, not at all. Never said I wanted to use it. I was just interested to find out whether anyone else uses it. In fact, I was a Mobil Lubricant Distributor in an 'earlier life.' I use Mobil synthetics in most everything. I also use some Amsoil products -- good stuff, IMO.

Yeah, problems like that don't clear up because of a fluid swap, unless the other stuff was waaaaay overdue for changing and was like tar. Remember, dealers, wether independants or MoCo's, are out to make as much $$$ as they can. This guy is a Bardahl dealer and is likely making a 50% profit on each qt he sells, or more.
