Default Handlebar diameter

Anyone know what the handlebar diameter is on my '03 883? I will in all probability be changing them out in the spring and want to make sure I order the correct diameter. Tks.

IRON: They are 1 inch diameter, unless someone before you swapped them out to the larger size. ........ BC

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but aren't metric bikes bars 7/8" generally and HDs are 1".

I noticed the bars on my Sportster also have indentations for the cables to enter the switch housings that you won't find on a run-of-the-mill round bar.

Some metrics may have 7/8" bars, I don't know for sure, but the bars on the '99 V* 650 I had B4 changing to the sporty were stock 1".

Is 2014 road king 1 inch also? I have 10 inch apes... I'd like to be a few inches higher & little more pullback.. Can I get the bars higher & more pullback by using pullback risers?? I've seen some around 4-5 inches with what looks like about 45 degree on the risers?? I'm trying to do this without new bars & lots of labor cost!!
