Default 10 inch mini apes?

will i need to put new cables if I go with the 10 inchers instead of somthing bigger... i am a cheap b@stard....

Judging from your photo, you have an '04-06, which has a six-inch riser to start with. Adding ten inches is going to be way up there. I went with six-inch apes, and while I could stretch them enough to ride it (not very far), you will definitely need longer cables. Your electric harnesseswill have to be lengthened as well. This is not a cheap hobby!

Yeah, definitely you will need longer cables and longer wires. I did the same thing. The bars are awesome, though, best money I've spent! (So, if you want higher bars, you might as well go for it, since you'll need new cables and stuff anyway!)

You can get NICE stainless cables on J&P for damn cheap....(I'm a cheap bastard too )

I put 10" apes on mine had to change everything. Start with your bars first. Take the old bars off but not any cables/brake lines etc. put the new bars on then with a piece of string measure all your cables. Then extend the string for each cable, that will give you all the new cable lengths. Go to J&P cycles and price it out if you can't afford it, all your out is the $60 for the bars. Good luch it's worth it.
