New Member, and here's my ride - '86 FLHTC
Been looking for a while through the posts, so I thought I should make myself known......
I am a new HD owner, I had the opportunity to pick up this bike earlier this month. Flew into NJ and rodeher back to Illinois, 984 miles on her maiden voyage! No problems, purred the whole way.
It is a Limited edition 1986 Electra Glide Custom, #86/650 Originally owned and ridden by the late Malcolm Forbes. This bike has seen the world, been to Japan, Turkey and Germany. I actually have a picture of it at Check Point Charlie. Only 36900 miles (when I picked it up) and it is in mint condition.
Here are a couple of pics....

Yes, I feel very fortunate to have "found" this bike, it has a full service history with it, and all the original paperwork, including the dealer pre-delivery checklist. My "intention" is to keep this bike pretty stock because of its history.
I originally developed the contact through another bike that was being sold, and one thing led to another.
Wow.....how did you come by this bike? It's very cool that it has such an interesting history.
