Default Hand drawn wiring diagram for XLCH...

To the member who needed info about wiring up the '68 Sportster but using a circuit breaker instead of a magneto, I have drawn such a diagram and perhaps you can use this. I had prepared this for another member last year who had a 1974 with electric start and had problems wading through the official version of the diagram. Those can look confusing to some of us, so hopefully this is easier to read.
The electric starter circuit has been crosshatched out, so just ignore those wires and equipment related to the starter. Likewise for the turn signals, horn, or other things you may not have on the bike.
Maybe this will help you, maybe not.........pg

Wow, great picture! Do you have one that I could use on my 65' Ironhead by any chance? The wiring leads a little to be desired so I thought I would redo it.

Thanks for any help!

KSSportster....
What kind of 1965 do you have? XLCH (with kick start only and a magneto) or is it an XLH? If it is an XLH just use the one I posted.
If it is a CH, then it will be even a simpler diagram. I do not have one ready but I could sketch up something if you need me to. Just let me know........pg

It's the XLCH, it's a kicker! Any help you could give is appreciated. I guess I could just replace things one wire at a time, but right now, things don't work so I'm not sure it's all correct to begin with. Thanks in advance.

Default I cant see the image

Any chance of it being posted again?
Or someone that can share it.
I have a 72 XLH that the wiring has been destroyed.
The factory diagrams do not help me put it back together as bad as this is

I need to see the conections in the relay box and such, not the block diagram.

Thanks
Floyd

Is this the one you are asking for?
It is for an XLH (1974) but it will be the same for a 1972.

Where it says "syl" it means solenoid. Also missing the circuit breakers. If you need to know where to place them please just ask.
