I have a 1999 Electra Glide which is stock EFI that needs much more HP. I want to put a 124" big bore kit on it. Was wondering the cost to install and which way I should go?

Can you go from 88" to 124"?

If it was my post to cnnesseth you are referring to, the answer is yes of course. I'll post, below, the basic 124 package information from Cycle-Rama so you'll have the general idea. But you owe it to yourself to give Wes a call and discuss what you might have in mind or where you'd like to go with a build, and he'll take you there with the information you need. Check this out for a 124 or 131 build, but note that would still need to "hook" it with clutch upgrade, etc, so some peripherals notwithstanding:

124 or 131 cubic inch twin cam engine package
* (1) Performance Ignition Module
* (1) 4 5/8 stroker crank
* (1) 4 1/8 (124) or 4.250 (131) pistons and cylinders
* (1) Set of heavy duty cylinder studs
* (1) Set of gear drive cams. Cams inner & Outer gears, new cam bearings & heavy duty cam bearing plate
* (4) Performance lifters
* (1) Adjustable pushrod kit and pushrod tubes
* (1) Performance engine gasket kit
* (1) Roller Rocker arms
High flow, High velocity, Cycle-Rama CNC Ported Cylinder Heads. Install over-sized intake seats, bronze alloy valve guides installed and honed to size. 2.100 Custom Hi-Flow stainless steel intake valves and 1.615 Hi-Flow nitrate coated exhaust valves. Multi angle valve job on intake, radius angle valve job on exhaust. Set valve to valve & seal to retainer clearance. Install heavy duty valve spring kit and set installed valve spring height. Install compression releases. Flow test heads. CC chambers & Mill heads.

Engine is disassembled cleaned & inspected, bottom end is mocked up & clearanced for stroker crank, top case is bored, cases are clearanced for cams. Rocker boxes are clearanced, engine is clayed, piston to valve clearance is measured and valve pockets are cut to correct depth, engine is reassembled.

Any worn out of spec. OEM parts will be extra, prices are subject to change.

This is Part I of a series of articles. I like to read Donny's opinion because he seems to be a thinking man's mechanic, not just a mouthpiece for the Motor Company.

Have you thought about swapping out your old engine for a brand new crate motor? This would give you the benefit of a new warranty on the crate motor, plus an opportunity to build the old one at your leisure. Just a thought...
