Harley Handlebar Mounted Clock
Hey Guys:
Does anyone have one of the Harley Mounted Handlebar Clocks on their bike? My battery went dead on mine & I need to replace it. I took it to my jeweler & he said he couldn't figure how to get the back off & was afraid of tearing it up. I can't find the directions that came with it. Any help or a copy of the directions that came with one would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

RE: Harley Handlebar Mounted Clock
Pair of needle nose pliers. One tip in each slot and turn counter clockwise. Replacemnt battery in any drug store or Wal-Mart. Put the back of the clock back in reverse order. No sweat about the waterproof. Just got to get creative with these things.

very easy
okay everyone,
for those that ever need to re-visit this thread. the battery replacement is very easy. Any pair of pliers will work. the back of the clock simply unscrews. plain and simple. i would suggest you protect the the extended portion from the back with a cloth before you grab a hold with the pliers. just to minimize scratching. other than that, nothing to it. and i am referring to the portion on the back of the clock that actually attaches to the handlebar.
