I also have the Yellow Jack from Sears. Granted I do not perform engine rebuilds on it, but for basic maintenance anddetailing, it works like a charm.

The trick to lowering itslowly is to turn the handle in very small increments until you see the bike start to lower. I can be done, at least on mine.

So the verdict: Thumbs up for the Yellow Jack.
