exhaust that sounds like bubbling water
I rode up on a guy on a dyna something or other yesterday. His exhaust sounded almost like water bubbling along with the rumble. I thought it sounded cool. I didn't get a chance to talk to him about it. Ever heard anything like that?

yep if it was carbarated the carb needed adjusted or his timing was way off

It's pretty hard to get the burbling (boat like) sound with only two cylinders, but I've heard some pretty close, all 2 into1 headers, Stainless systems also seem to havenicer sound like you described...

Yep I have heard that sound before. When I tried to jump my 4wheeler across a pond, when I came up short I heard the sound that you are describing, but it only made that sound for a couple of seconds then went silent.

It's not good when the carb comes off and a lung full of water gets sucked in either, unless you think con rods should resemble pretzles...Don't ask how I know

when I lost the brakes at a boat launch, the truck made that noise, until the cab was full of water

My bike sounded kinda that way with the mufflers pulled and open headers. I know it's bad for the bike, but it sounded insane.
