not to be a dick or anything, but a 150 tire is only 10mm bigger than your 140. thats about the width of 2 pencils. You really not going to notice it too much especially with a full rear fender on a Herritage

I put a 160 Metzler on my 05 Heritage. Didn't have to do any modifications at all. The Metzler is a little more narrow than a Dunlop 160. Anything any wider wouldn't fit, plus it would be too wide for the stock wheel. The 160 is pretty close to the belt and the belt guard. Most folks do this change simply for looks. Even though it seems a minor change, it does look a lot wider. Ride is still the same. life's still the same.

My dealer just fit the Michelin Commander 150/80/16 on my stock
spoke wheel with no major mods I'm aware of.
I pick her up today and will check clearance and take pics if I have time.
As I understand it the Commanders are very close to the same width as the stock Dunlop 402's.
