Is there a kick start conversion out there for a 03 sportster??

 

The electric start isn't good enough?

Try putting a pull start off the lawn mower on it for even more attention.

Kinda off topic but if anyone knows where I can get one of those big cranking rods to put on my car sticking out the front can you let me know? Thanks!

You CAN modify the cases on an Evo sporster to use a BT style open primary....which in fact means you are using a BT transmission....which means you CAN in fact use a kicker...just like an 80" Evo.

Is it easy? **** no....but possible....yes.

Led Sled built a bike called Whiskey Bent that they did this on. Here's a couple pics...and YES this is an Evo Sportster.

 

That would have been cool if they made the nightster with kick start cause it's supposed to look old skool. I probably wouldn't use it..........unless there were some hot chicks watchin"Check this out baby girl......... ****!!! I just broke my leg!"

 

It sounds interesting but I think I would have to have a magneto also after this alteration...
