Default Radio Display Screen BLANK!

Went out Sunday morning to take the scoot for a ride. Got on, started her up and my radio display screen is blank. Nothing, nada....however everything still works fine with the hand controls, CD, radio, volume, etc.

No clock, no nothing.

What's up with this??

You might try pulling the radio fuses (I think there are 2 of them) for a minute and see if that resets everything.

Mine did that one time. I turned it off with the ignition switch still on and turned it back on again. Everything was cool again.

The same exact thing happened to my 06 and the radio had to be replaced and to top it off it was out of warranty and thank god that the service mgr did a goodwill replacement for me..

Check the contrast, if you hit the adjustment by mistake it will go blank.

Not sure what year your bike is, but the HK on my 2006 EGC did the same thing and needed to be replaced. Dealer tried to do a software update first but it did not work. I did a lot of research on this when mine went south, and many have to be replaced. Do a search here and you will find a ton of info.
