Default RE: Fork oil weight more info for ya

I use race-tec us-3, it's 15wt... 01 fxd... rac-tec springs,I'm 200lbs 30% 2 up....not a soft ride but not as stiff as as screamin eagle fluid.Ive also used amsoil medium in the past,it's a slightly smoother ride.I believe my forks call for 1.6 oz.i always round it to 11 oz.I slowly work the forks to get the air out and then check that each is leg is the same level.

I used the SE heavy fork oil when I changed to Progressive springs in my Deuce. Feel like it's too heavy, and intend to drop down just a bit.

I just changed mine today. I had (at least this is what HD told me), E 5wt.
I changed to Screaming Eagle Performance Fork Oil heavy (not to be used for street WTF?).
I weigh 183
I pack the ole lady around a lot, she's been riding behind me for most of 20 yrs.
I Have bags, full or MT depending.
I plan a 2 1/2 grand or so trip in june, I will add on whatever I can find a spot for, T bag as well.
I dont know what that 'not for street use' **** is, Bob handles and corners GREAT by comparison to that 5 wt **** that was in there.
