Default Road king custom lower seat height

So here is my problem, I have an 07 FLHRS Road King Custom I bought on the way to Sturgis last year. I have ridden the stock seat for over 8000 miles. I'm ready for something with back support and same or lower seat height. Those clip on back rests areout of the question for me. I just dont like them.....But I also have to have low seat height. I can just reach the ground as it is. 1" taller seat will not work. Any ideas???
Thanks for any input!!

Wife ('07 RK Custom) and I ('05 RKC) had both our bikes done by Rich's from Seattle. He also did wife's previous bike ('99 Lowrider). We do a lot of long distance riding on vacations, usually 3000-3500 mi. trips. You can pay about the same price for a Corbin but this one is custom fit (you have to make an appointment and it takes all day) and it's worth. The first seat he did for the wife I thought it was a bit pricey but the first trip to Sturgis (2002), riding 8-10 hour days and not one complaint, I knew it was a winner. I rode for years on my '86 with nothing bothered me but with the new bike ('05) I thought I'd give it a shot. Great seat!!! The ONLY people who ever bitch about his seats are the people who don't have them. He does mail order also but it's better to be there.

Thanks for responding, Mark!!Can you post a pic or 3 of the seats he made for you. Are they actually custom made or does he take your stock seat and rebuild it? I'm also a long distance rider. Plannig on east coast this year and a seat with more back support without sacrificing seat height would be great!! My softail or wide glide are much more comfortable to ride long distance but Ineed to justify the payments on the RK! Also the windshield will be a nice change!

Mean City gets good reviews here if you wanna rework yours.
I have a EG butran a RK custom seat on it. I had issues with the stitching bothering me and no back support. I recently switched to the studded 2 piece RK standard seat. It is just a little taller than the custom but shorter than my factory seat. I find it very nice on the rump with great back support with and without the pillion. A added bonus is the woman seems to really like it, much better than the custom seat.

+1 on Rich's of Seattle.
he made the custom seats on a kawy vulcan I traded in for my roadking. I'll try & post the pic here of it.
I must say it is the most comfortable seat I've ever ridden on. Gel filled and form fitted.
rider, passenger and back rest were just shy of a grand. but WELL WORTH IT

Here's a photo, it's been lowered and moved forward. She's only 5'2" so she needs all the help she can get. I also lowered the front 1 1/4". She kind of went all out this time with grey ostrich inserts (they were our Xmas presents to each other). As soon as I can figure out how to do it I will.
