Best 95" kit? cams?
For all those who have done a 95" build, what combinations, kits did you use? Tell your story and what your results were please. I want to get busy finding that "perfect" kit to hopefully install before summer is in full swing. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks! K.

What is it you want out of your 95ci... ?
Me, I pull a trailer with my dogs... so I wanted the extra low end torque for pulling... So I went 95ciwith SE203 cams.... rejetted my carb... Supertrapp exhaust... kuryakyn hyper charger air filter... stock heads...
Have not put it on a dyno so I can't give you any numbers... but I will say it pulls my trailer, tools and my dog just fine up the hills...
I have what I wanted but at a cost... now I get 33 to 35 mpg on the highway and 30 mgp around town...

I really don't want a "racer", but just a lil extra bump with the half twist. To get around that truck/car against a side/head wind two up. I'd like to see numbers close to 85-90/90-95 I guess. I've heard of numbers like that with milage close to or just above 40, so I'm hoping for the best of both worlds. K

I would reccomend one of several cams, headwork, boring your seasoned cylinders, and a very good tune. Done.

I wanted the biggest power band I could possible get in the usable street power range from off idle to 5K rpm.
Doug at HQ anserwed all my questions the best of all that I called.
If you ride 2 up alot or towyour build will be alittle different than a lighter bike mostly riding 1 up.
HQ USA has a build you bike opption on there web site that has some good guide lines to help you get started.

If you really don't want a racer, & are only looking for hi 80's in HP & torque then I would recommend a good set of cams only, Such as SE211 or Andrews 50g Gear drive, These along with a good exhaust & A/C will get you all over 88+ hp & torque
You will also need a SERT & dyno tune if it is fuel injected, if just carb you will only need to rejet the carb

RE: Best 95" kit? cams?
I t all depends on your riding style and what you really want from the build. One thing though is to go with a proven build, whether it be a kit from a supplier like HeadQuarters (my preference), GMR, R&R or proven matched component form Someone like Doc! or Hillside. Don't go the mix and match trying to figure this out yourself, get a lot of input. Don't go with the first suggestion from a local dealer as a lot of times, they are not leading you down the path that will get you the results you want.
You can find a proven performance set-up by going here:

Well I used to work for a Stealer that specialized in performance mods & we built hundreds of bikes with the SE211 & andrews 50 g and always got very consistence dyno numbers, of course it also depends on what exhaust you install & who is tuning you bike in !!!
