Anyone try to buff out minor scratches in black denim paint.&nbsp\\; I noticed a few on mine that are bugging me now!

I wouldn't buff it as it will polish up and look shiny.

I have a small scratch on the tank from the zipper on my jacket, I was thinking of buying the HD Denin Black paint can and try a light mist from it. I am going to try vinegar (light acid) first in case the zipper material rubbed&nbsp\\;off onto the paint and there is a remote chance this may remove the metal without harming the paint.

 

can of denim paint... sand scratch smooth and shoot....very easy to do results will look like new provided you get surface smooth and dont run the paint.

 

Only suggestion I have would be to try a small pin strip design, or comemorate the day you bought it with a cover up slogan. But, don't buff it no matter what or you will have an even bigger problem to cover up.
