How much HP 103" stage II. Worth it?
I went to my local dealer yesterday to inquire about getting a 103" stage 2 kit done to my bike when it gets delivered. \\; He was trying to get me to go a different route with head work, aftermarket parts and everything, but I'm trying to stay within the bounds of my factory and extended warranty. \\; How much more power can I expect to get from the factory 103 kit. \\; Is it worth getting. \\; Since I'm new to Harleys I thought getting the extended warranty would be a safe bet. \\; What are your thought??. \\; Thanks for the help. \\;
 \\;
ps I was going to do exhaust and ECM/Power Commander also.

Mine did not gain that much in horsepower. I think It went from whatever stock is, 70? up to 79. But the torque went from 80, up to 101. While everyone will point to the aftermarket, if warranty is a concern, thats out the window going that route.

I looked into both the 103 and 110 kit when I bought mine. The dealers are limited to what they can legally do now. Heres what I found out and what I did with mine and love it, except after 10k miles I want MORE!
The 110 kit was $5500. They have to split and bore your cases\\; final numbers were an unimpressive 89ish HP and a little more torque than stock. Warranty still intact.
103 kit not much difference except they didnt have to split cases. Still had low comp. and not much better than stock output. Somewhere around $3k I think. Warranty intact.
Indy solution: 103 kit with forged 10.5:1, some head work, cams, adj p/r, sert, remap, true duals with Kuryakyn s/s packed mufflers. Results 108 hp 116 torque. $4100. Take off a grand if you have some exhaust already. Compromised warranty=who cares, they would bitch and scream to get out of something anyway. Its not worth the hassle.
