Custom Paint
How many of you fellas and ladies have custom paint on your tourer (non-factory). What kind of $$ did you spend if you don't mind sharing, and post up some pics. Mine is away to paint with somewhat of an open checkbook right now so I'm interested to know what it's going to cost.
Pics of Scallops on baggers would be awesome.

Thanks. It is a C&C Seat, they are in California. Great seats and great prices, I think we've ordered about 4 of them.
Thanks! We're not far from you....West Point, GA!
Well, he had the bags extended last year....that was about $1900 and then the paint was done this past summer. He had true duals put on when it was painted and I think it was closer to $2500 for this last bill. Then we just had air ride put on it and my fat boy.....these damn things are money pits!!! But we sure do love 'em!

My paint job consisted of painting 35 seperate parts, including turn sinals, license plate frome&bracket, inner fairing and speedo nacelles, ignition switch, dash and fuel door and all the body parts and spoilers. The graphics alone took the artist, Steve, 2 weeks to do all the small details, shadowing, edging and all that. The cost was under what it should have been, but friends do things for friends so it was $6,000.

Here is a closer pic of my bike. The color is House of Kolors Root Beer Kandy sprayed over a charcoal base. I put some graphics in it and the plans were "subtle" and I overdid it because you almost have to put your nose to the bike to see it. When the weather gets bad enough I plan to redo it and add some. The second pic is the side cover. I just love the old #1 logo.
