Default Idle mixture screw

Do you have to remove the carb. to drill out and adjust the idle mixture screw on a 06 fxst.

Get rid of the stock carb and buy a Mikuni you will be much happier.

I personally would remove the carb but the mecanic at my
Harley dealer did it without removing it. Experience and a special
tool perhaps?

it is very easy to do.check out this site very helpful harley-performance.com it has detailed
instructions on jetting and idle mix screw removal

I just re-jetted this week, and I found that my mixture screw was already drilled out. I bought the bike new and it's only been to the dealer 3 times for regular service. No one else has touched it. Wonder why they did that...
