Cool WWII Bomber names?
Back in WWII pilots and crew used to come up with cool names for their planes such as: Memphis Belle, The Tail of the Dragon, etc.
Well, I'm planning on doing a theme on the tank of my Nightster of a WWII era pinup girl and thought it would be cool to incorporate a WWII bomber name such as Lucky Lady or something like that.
Right now I'm kind of leading towards "Hell's Belle". Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Not sure what he named this plane, but here is a shot of my uncle with his crew in one of the three planes he crashed during WWII. Uncle is far left standing. He was the pilot. The 3rd plane that he crashed, unfortunately, landed him in a German POW camp where he rode out the remainder of the war. I should email him and see if he had names for any of the planes he flew.

Thats an awesome pic. My grandfather was in the military then, but unfortunately he passed last year. I would have liked to hear more stories from him and names of planes that he flew in.

My father-in-law flew Hellcats in the Pacific during WWII but what he named his planes (3) can't be posted here.
Passed away about 10 years ago and I sure do miss him and our talks.

Attached is a picture of my dad standing by the nose of his B-24. It looks like htis is after his 25th mission, he flew 36 over Germany in all as the pilot before being transfer to the Pacific. The model for his nose art later turned out to be my mother.
